Gerald Bruce Connor “Jerry”

Gerald Bruce Connor “Jerry”, 86, of Beason, passed away October 11, 2024, at his home.
Visitation will be from 9 AM until 11 AM Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home with funeral services at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery, Beason.

Jerry was born July 9, 1938, in Beason, IL., the son of William Coley Connor and Daisy (Tapscott) Connor. He married Judith Eimer in 1962. She preceded him in death in 2017.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He retired from the State of Illinois. Jerry was a member of the Beason United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, American Legion, and the Beason Sportsmans Club. He enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his sons Randy Schueller and Bill Connor; sister Roxy (Connor) Farlin; grandchildren: Matt Schueller, Laura Connor, Nicole Schueller, and Ryan Connor, great grandson Cameron Thixton, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, son Steven Connor, grandson Evan Connor, brother Harold Connor, and sisters Darlene (Connor) Deiss and Norma (Connor)Buchanan.
