Tony E. Tripplett, 58, of Tovey, passed away June 16, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in Irish Grove Cemetery.
Tony was born February 27, 1967, in Lincoln, IL., the son of James and Linda Tripplett. He loved to go fishing, camping, and hunting. He loved watching his nephew Brett race his sprint cars and started watching his great nephew Tanner start his racing career. He also loved to go cart race.
He is survived by his wife Susan Tripplett of Tovey, IL., daughters Karla Cambron of Tovey, IL., Amber (Nate) Scott of Taylorville, IL., and Tracy Daugherty of Tovey, IL; grandchildren: Mark Cambron, Allison Cambron, Dakota Cambron, Anthony Daugherty, James Daugherty, and Alana Daugherty all of Tovey, IL., and Jacob Hughes of Kincaid, IL.; one brother Otis (Terri) Tripplett of Middletown, IL., and three sisters Debbie (Aaron) Johnson of Monticello, IL., Donna (Mike) Mosier of Lawrenceville, IL., and Serena (Kyle) Livingston of High Springs, FL. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
