Bill Lee Hern

Bill Lee Hern, 77, 0f Lincoln, passed away on December 12, 2021 at St. Clara’s Manor.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. There will be no services at this time.

Bill was born December 17, 1943 in Womac Village, Macoupin County, Illinois, the son of Orville and Edith (West) Hern. He was a long-time truck driver. Bill enjoyed watching and reading Westerns.

Survivors include his son Scott Hern; sisters Wilda Gooden, Velma Hinkle, and Judy Gerhardt ; brothers: Pat Hern (Sheila), George Hern (Doris), and Dan Hern (June); nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother John Hern (Diane), and sister Bessie Morgan.
