Melody Kaye Rich

Melody Kaye Rich, 78, of Lincoln, passed away January 4, 2022 at Memorial Hospital of Lincoln.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. There will be no services at this time.
Melody was born July 16, 1943 in Clinton, IL., the daughter of Ora Samuel Wheeler and Jesse Mae (Allen). She retired from Lincoln Developmental Center. She was also formerly employed at Casey’s General Store. She loved gardening, loved to feed all of the stray animals, and loved to talk to people.
Survivors include her daughters Wendi Rich (Randy Yager) and Debbie Camasta; 2 granddaughters; 4 great grandchildren; and step – daughter Gail Friesland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Linda Moore, and special friend Jim Friesland.
