Patricia M. Baker, 78, of Springfield, passed away December 6, 2025, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. A celebration of life and burial will be held at a later date.
Patricia was born May 22, 1947, in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Harvey H. Baker Sr. and Patricia M. (Foster) Baker. She graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1965 and was employed by Franklin Life/AIG for more than 30 years. “Pat” enjoyed shopping/thrifting, gardening, and decorating.
Survivors include her children: Kevin (Mary Kae) Strocher, Robert (Cynthia) Strocher, and Sheila (Aaron) Truax, 14 grandchildren: Tyler, Cody, Elizabeth (Macon), Emma, Isabella, Gavin, Alexa, Robert, Zach, Dalton (Taylor), Jonathan, Samuel, Hannah, and Landon; great granddaughters Aubrey and Cora; brother Harvey H. Baker Jr. (Cindy), and sister Michelle (William) Nelson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
