W. Kent Ritchhart

W. Kent Ritchhart, 59, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL.
He was born on September 19, 1961 in Lincoln, the son of Bob and Mackie Ritchhart. He resided in the Chicagoland area for most of his life after attending Harper College and Northern Illinois University. Throughout his life, Kent was very active within the deaf community. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He will be greatly missed by many.
He is survived by his mother, Mackie Ritchhart of Lincoln, one brother, Scott Ritchhart and one niece Casey (Mitch) Niekamp. He will be laid to rest next to his father, Bob Ritchhart.
There will be no memorial gathering at this time. We ask that memorials be send to the Chicago Hearing Society in remembrance of Kent. We welcome cards sharing your special moments with Kent be sent to Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home.
Kent’s final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ donation. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, and uncle.
