Alice Lorraine Albright Viegut (“Lorraine”)

Alice Lorraine Albright Viegut (“Lorraine”) passed away peacefully on October 18, 2022 at the age of 86 in Irving, TX.
Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Lorraine was born in Lincoln, Illinois to Lola Lorraine Albright (nee Richards) and Ralph George Albright (“Ralph”). After her birth mother’s passing, Lorraine was raised by her parents Lena(nee Wertzberger) and Ralph Albright.

Lorraine grew up in Hammond, Indiana and attended Valparaiso University where she met her husband, Ervin Viegut (divorced).Lorraine raised her three children in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Lorraine’s professional life spanned working in the insurance industry, real estate, and multi-family property management. Lorraine lived in Waukesha until she retired and moved to Tarpon Springs, Florida. She spent her last years of retirement in the Dallas, Texas area.

Lorraine is survived by her sisters Janet Smith and Charlene Crowder, two sons and their families; Todd (Karen) Viegut of Irving, Texas, and Eric (Nicole) Viegut of Palm Harbor, Florida, and six grandchildren; Brooke, Reid, Graham, Collin, Carson, and Paige. Lorraine is preceded in death by her daughter Janine Kay Viegut, birth mother Lola Lorraine Richards, father Ralph Albright and mother Lena Albright.

Lorraine will be remembered as a very caring, sweet, and loving person, putting family and friends first. She built an exceptional rapport with her caregivers in her memory care unit. There will be a graveside service on November 19, 2022 at 11:00am in Old Union Cemetery, Lincoln, Illinois.
