David Joseph Evans

David Joseph Evans, 69, of Bath, IL., passed away July 21, 2025 at his home. Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. There will be no services at this time.

David was born August 12, 1955, in Mason City, IL., the son of Russell and Bessie (Wadley) Evans. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He married Jeanette Turner and they shared 18 years of marriage.

David loved to fish and be on the river. He enjoyed working on cars and small engines, was a jokester, loved animals, and loved his family more than anything else.

Survivors include his wife Jeanette, children: Susan Evans, Bessie Humphries ( Dean), Kenneth Evans, Miranda Webster ( James), Florinda Evans, Kris Evans ( Alisha), Scott Evans, and Haley Evans; numerous grandchildren and great grand children ;
stepsons Jeff Elliott and James Elliott; and siblings Josh Evans, Rodger Evans, and Patty Bridgeman ( Dave).

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers: Ronnie Evans, James Evans, and Rusty Evans.
