Melonie Kay Hopp Cervin

Melonie Kay Hopp Cervin, 59, of Lincoln, passed away July 27, 025 at home with her daughter and her best friend by her side.
Visitation will be from 3-5 PM Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. Cremation will take place following services.
Melonie was born March 23, 1966, in Lincoln, the daughter of Richard and Sandy (Hoffert) Hopp. She was an experienced interior home painter and worked in construction. She spent many years in Panama City, FL. with her family and returned to Lincoln in 2016. She loved playing Bingo, slot machines, and loved her cat Mokey. Mel enjoyed riding her scooter and cooking for her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter Echo Buse (Jason Mote) of Panama City, FL.; grandchildren Madison Mote, Ronnie Mote, and Mariah Mote, and her loyal friend Cindy Prescott of Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Richard L. Campbell, and her brother Rick Hopp.

Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Echo Buse and will be accepted at the funeral home.
